Hey everyone,hope you all are doing well.Today i have another review post on a Mascara and this is my first time when i am reviewing a Mascara on my blog.I dunno why it took me long to feature a mascara on my blog but there is always a first time right ? So let's get started.
Covergirl products are not yet available here in India and i got mine from Canada.If you are a reader of my blog then you must know that my sister lives in Canada and whenever she visits us she gets some amazing products which are not available in India and this product is one of those amazing goodies she got me last time.
This Mascara comes packed like any other mascara but the tube and wand comes packed separately to make sure that mascara is sealed until you open it and this increases the shelf life of the product.The tube is green in color and the one i got is 825 Very Black and its the water resistant mascara.
The wand of this mascara is made of plastic hence it feels little scratchy whenever i try to use it,the bristles are very small on this wand so i have to go very near to the upper and lower lashline in order to curl my lashes and that's when you need to be careful if you have small lashes like mine so for people like me it can be a pain to use.
The staying power of this mascara is really nice,it can stay put for almost 6-7 hours pretty easily even more than that,i have never worn a mascara more then 6-7 hours but still i can say that it is a long lasting mascara.This is a water resistant one so it is not waterproof if your eyes tend to get watery and you rub them then it will come off.I like water resistant mascaras more then the water proof ones for the simple reason that i dun like the way my lashes feel after applying a waterproof mascara also water proof mascaras are hard to remove.
All n all i really like this mascara for no makeup makeup days,whenever i am using this mascara i dun use anything else and i am sorted.Would i recommend this mascara? Yes i would if you like clean separated long lashes but if you are person who loves to wear a volumizing mascara then this would not be for you but you can always use this in combination with your volumizing mascara.

Formula
This mascara does a good job in giving the fully separated long lashes without making them clumpy however this mascara can also make the eyelashes look clumpy if you have waited a little longer in the second coat application so i would suggest you not to wait too long in between both the coats otherwise it will make your eyelashes clumpy.This is a lengthening mascara it would not give you volume.I tried to apply 3 coats and it was still the same so i would suggest you to use this mascara in conjunction with some volumizing mascara in order to get the long and voluminous lashes.I personally use it with my Maybelline colossal volume express mascara because that one is great for giving volume to the lashes but it makes the eyelashes bit clumpy which i do not like so i use this mascara as my first coat then maybelline colossal for the second coat and lastly finish it with the clump crusher again but this time just to separate the lashes,and whenever i want a natural look i use the clump crusher and apply 2 coats of it.The staying power of this mascara is really nice,it can stay put for almost 6-7 hours pretty easily even more than that,i have never worn a mascara more then 6-7 hours but still i can say that it is a long lasting mascara.This is a water resistant one so it is not waterproof if your eyes tend to get watery and you rub them then it will come off.I like water resistant mascaras more then the water proof ones for the simple reason that i dun like the way my lashes feel after applying a waterproof mascara also water proof mascaras are hard to remove.
