Welcome to the girls korner.I am so excited today and u can guess why :-P .I am bit late on this band wagon of HD lipsticks but better late then never..So today i am gonna share with u guys my thought on the the product i have heard so many people talk about it on Instagram and blogs.I wasn't even going for this review cuz i thought it might sound or look little bit repetitive of what's already been said everywhere.But i was so excited and i have heard so many good things about this product and hence i wanted to try it out by myself and i couldn't resist my self reviewing it.you guys don't know but matte lipstick is totally my thing i am obsessed with it.. A Matte lipstick and that to HD what else a matte lover would need...OOhh yes i am talking about the LAKME ABSOLUTE SCULPT HIGH DEFINITION MATTE LIPSTICK..There is a HD trend going on and as u guys all know lakme just released a whole range of there HD matte lipsticks recently and i was waiting to get my hands on them so i finally got myself two Lippis from this range.
so let's get straight to the review...

I must say the variation in the colors is very good.Its a collection of fun and bright colors there is no nude as such in the collection and i dun mind that cuz bright colors are my thing.. you will get every color possible in this range there are 2-3 pinks ,reds ,corals bright oranges plums and mauve's and burgundy's to maroons and yes a coco shade too..I really like the color range overall .
Packaging :-This packaging is quite similar to the gloss addict range but it feels more plasticy type. I prefer the 9to5 rose gold packaging more then this..That looks so expensive and chic..The lipstick bullet is the old traditional lakme round cut bullet, which makes the application very tricky and i prefer the pointed bullet more for precise application specially in the corners.Pointed bullet makes the application hassle free and easy specially for beginners. There is a unique thing in the packaging of these lipsticks,the lipstick bullet opens up with a click and closes with a click as well which i like. The lipstick lid on the top is transparent and u can see the shade from the top and shade can be identify pretty easily.
Formula:- Here comes the interesting part ..The formula of these lipstick is everything .These lipsticks are incredibly pigmented which i really like and hence the darker shades do leave a stain on ur lips.which is nice, u get more color for a longer period of time.I find these lipsticks last 4-5 hour before they starts fading off on me and believe me i am a lipstick eater .so the longevity of these lipsticks is really good .This entire range called matte so i thought they would dry out the lips and there will b a need of a lip balm underneath but they don't dry out ur lips because they are not a true matte and are creamy matte instead ,hence they transfer a bit..but that's ok as far as they are comfortable on lips.Hands down this one is the best formula i have ever tried from lakme...

The two shades i got are Plum spell and pink me up. As u all know plum is the color for this season and the plum spell is a bright plum shade with red undertones and that attracted me the more .Sometime It looks more pink on me and sometimes it looks more red ..but none the less its my favorite shade from this range and its really pretty ...And the second shade i got is Pink me up and its a pretty pink shade .I am not at all comfortable in wearing a pink lipstick but this shade caught my eye and i thought why not let's give it a try and i am glad i picked it up.Formula on this particular shade does clings on a little bit on the dry patches if u have on your lips.It's not a super bright pink or any light pink which can wash me out.Its a very wearable pink and very gorgeous shade.

Likes:-
- Incredibly pigmented
- Price is not too high as compared to the other products
- many color options to choose from
- comfortable formula
Dislikes :-
- Packaging -It can get dirty and messy easily and feels bit plasticky
- Bullet shape -Round cut bullet makes the precise appliction bit hard
- It is not transfer proof (I dun mind that )
What i think about the product :- I totally recommend this product its worth the money and even i want to try other shades ;-P
