Hey lovelies,hope you all are doing fine.Today i have a very exciting review post for you guys and it's from a very affordable brand called elf.How i shopped and what the experience was,i have a full review post on each and every website i shopped from,including elf cosmetics.I always wanted to shop from elf,since it's a very affordable yet good quality brand and that's why everyone loves their products.I got a bunch of products from them and this palette is one of them.
If you guys know me you definitely know that i am a eyeshadow and lipstick hoarder but the main reason behind this purchase being lack of eyeshadow palettes in the market.When i got this palette it was a new launch and that time not a single Indian brand had launched eyeshadow palettes in there range,obviously singles and duos,quads were been there in Indian market for so long and brands like Maybelline,Revlon,L'oreal,Lakme all were having these quads and singles but not a palette and i feel having a palette is good then having a quad firstly because you get better value for your money,since every palette comes with minimum 10 shades,and secondly if you have a palette it gives you the freedom to create multiple looks without having a mess with 10-12 different singles and most importantly,palettes are perfect for travelling purposes,you just need one good palette with a mix of matte and shimmery shades and you are good to go.

Hey guys,I always felt that Indian Makeup market is far more behind from the other countries like UK and USA and i really wish we also had some amazing brands on which we are missing out totally,but i feel very happy and excited when i see that brands like Maybelline is stepping up their game in India and launching the products which we could only get from outside India.
When i got the chance to shop from USA i had in mind that i wanna shop for some brow products since we are lacking on them here and after seeing Maybelline New york's new brow product which is define&fill duo,i just grabbed it.To be very frank initially i wasn't sure about the fact that how this product gonna work and was very intrigued about it since it has a different mechanism and concept.

So let's begin :P
Product Claims-In terms of the claims of this foundation,basically it is gonna be better for your skin,so over the period of time it's gonna help improve your skin.Overtime it suppose to help clear up your skin and make it look more healthy,radiant,youthful.It also does claim to be an all day foundation,so it suppose to be long lasting.It also claims to be a oil free foundation.
Packaging-It comes in a beautiful packaging,i really like the way how it's packaged.It is a very sleek glass bottle,it does come with a pump which is a total yaaay:) The product part is totally transparent and the pump section is blue in color and the top lid is also transparent,which has the shade name and no written on it.
Product-This applies beautifully to the skin,i do prefer using a beauty sponge over the brush,cuz i feel that it kind of helps in blending the formula and makes it a thinner layer and gives kind of airbrush finish cuz it's a thicker formula.Initially when you apply it seems to be a more of a luminous finish,it doesn't feel matte whatsoever but after it dries it, dries down to a powdery finish which i dun like cuz it looks very dry on skin and because of that it can cling on the dry patches or flaky skin if you have. Since it's oil free my oily girls can also use this but they will need little bit setting.Personally i dun like to set it cuz i have dry skin.The one thing i have noticed is that since it has SPF 15 in it,it can leave a white cast in flash photography,at least i felt this on me.
As for the skin benefits i haven't notice anything yet though i am using this foundation for almost couple of weeks now.Of course i haven't been using it every day,so i need to use this a bit more to see that whether it is doing anything for my skin or not.
Coverage-According to me i would say it is a medium coverage foundation.You can build it up but then it would not look natural,it can look patchy and cakey after layering it up.One application gives more kind of a natural finish.
Shade Range-In terms of shade selection this foundation comes in 12 different shades,which is very less.I feel a wide range of color really helps to cater everybody.I am in the shade 90 warm honey,which is the second last deepest shade they have and although it's kind of my shade but still i wish they had more shades cuz seriously just 12 shades are not enough.

Overall thoughts-It is a good foundation but if you have a super dry skin it would not work for you as it's tend to cling on the dry patches of the skin.I just wish they had more shades to choose from.Overall i am liking this product it's super light weight and when i am feeling little dry on some parts of my face i just take a good moisturizer and just pat it gently on those parts and i am good to go.

Welcome back to my blog,i am uber excited to share my thoughts on a product which has been a favorite of so many people over the social media.Ever since it launched,everyone is raving about these so much,that i had to get them,and these are the newly launched Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lipsticks.These launched last fall time but then maybelline recently expand there creamy matte line with 10 new shades,so now they have 20 shades in total.I am glad that i got these cuz they are totally worth the hype they are getting.So let's begin :)
Packaging- These come in a traditional maybelline lipstick packaging.we all know the maybelline lipstick packaging right ? same case with these as well ,these are also just the same,the top cap is nude-ish brown and it's all the same color on every single shade and the bottom of the lipstick has a corresponding shade sticker with the name and no written on it.
Formula-The star element of these lipsticks is the formula.Maybelline finally managed to Launch a product which is super matte but not drying on lips.If you have read my color blur review these are kind of same,although the colorblur ones are bit more creamier but these are awesome as well.These go one smooth,feels like velvet on your lips.Being a matte lipstick they are fully opaque in one swipe,very rich in pigmentation with that being said these are not drying at all but that doesn't mean that these are hydrating.These look completely matte on lips,no sheen, no shine whatsoever which i really like.One thing which you need to take care of is that exfoliation is very important if you are wearing any lipstick either it's matte or glossy or whatever.Exfoliation makes your lips look better and more presentable with any lipstick on,since these are matte you must exfoliate cuz matte lippies tend to emphasise the dry patches and cracks and mostly the lighter shades.The formula is very lightweight,not heavy at all.
Longevity- Lasting power of these lipsticks is pretty awesome.These lipsticks can last easily 4-5 hours depending on what you are eating or drinking throughout the day.I find that initially when you apply,these can transfer a bit but after a period of time they sets on your lips and then these don't transfer at all,until and unless you are having oily or greasy food.The brighter shades do leave a beautiful stain behind after the lipstick wears off completely,these lipsticks fade evenly which is a good thing,and the reapplication is also very easy,i find these pile up on each other very evenly.
The 4 shades i got are ;-
Rich ruby-Rich ruby is indeed a rich red shade,it is just a gorgeous true red.
Devine wine-Devine wine is a deep red with brown undertones.It's a pretty shade and perfect for those who are hesitant of wearing true bright reds.
All fired up-I wasn't sure about this color that it would suit me or not but after i heard that it's a dupe for a mac lipstick either its all fired up or relentlessly red,i am not sure,i had to pick this up.It's a very bright pink with coral and pink undertones.Believe me it's a in your face kinda shade.
Burgundy Blush-It's a deep deep burgundy brown shade,very pretty shade ,when i wore it ,it reminded me my college days when i was into deep dark browns.Love it.

No one can have enough lipsticks right? And who is not a sucker for good lipsticks ? Definately I am ! ;)
Today i am reviewing a nyx lipstick which is another product from my US haul.This lipstick is not new but definitely new to me.I've been a matte lover till now and you guys would probably know the drawback of having pigmented lips,i always get drawn towards the matte lip colors cuz matte lipsticks tend to give you full coverage and opacity on the lips ,but they tend to dry out your lips at the same time since i have super dry lips it's a horrible combo, dry and pigmented lips together.Hence i've been wanting a lippie for so long which can cover the pigmentation leaving my lips hydrated.And I found it :)
Nyx butter lipstick -Hunk
Packaging -Something i really like about the packaging is that they are the color of the lipstick,i think that always makes that easy to quickly organize them or find them if you have many.The cap and the bottom of the lipstick is round and similar to the lipstick color and the centre part is transparent where you can see the actual product.The bullet has the traditional pointed shape.I find the packaging very pretty and chic.
Formula-The formula is very creamy and light weight,goes on very smooth.It does require a few good swipes across the lips to build up the color.The shade is gorgeous and one of the brighter shades from this range,it looks even more purply in the tube but it comes off like a berry shade.I have this one only so can't say about the other shades but particularly this shade stained on me while swatching on my hand, even after i removed the swatch with a baby wipe,it was there.It's not at all drying on your lips but since they are named butter,i was expecting it to be super moisturizing,but i dun feel the lipstick is giving anything extra to your lips.These are not drying but not super moisturizing either.One thing i noticed that after couple of hours the shine gradually fades off.I find these lippies lasts for good 3-4 hours without eating greasy and oily food,after a wear time of 2-3 hours you'll notice that these don't look as perfect as you applied them initially.With these lippies you would need to touch up if you want that shine back.The good thing about this particular lippie is that it's not having any shimmer or glitter in it which is great.

Today i wanna share a brand new launch by Maybelline and these are called Color blur By Lipstudio Cream Matte Pencil & Smudger and it's a product from my US haul.You guys,since the day i saw this product i've been wanting these,cuz everyone was raving about these a lot.So i wanted to try these out ,you guys know we can't have these amazing products in india and that makes us even more excited about the products which are not easily available here hence when i got the chance to order these i just grabbed them.
Product- Maybelline color blur cream matte lips pencil comes in 10 shades.In this line you get plums,berry mauve,oranges,pinks and reds.That's a good variety to choose from.I picked up My-My Magenta and Berry Misbehaved.I chose these shades cuz i find these very different and unique yet pretty wearable shades.
The idea behind this product is you can wear two ways,either a fully saturated lip or you can go for a gradient/blurred or ombre lip,that tends to be a big trend in asia.What you can do is ,just fill the color in the center of your lips and with the opposite end which is a rubbery applicator pull the color outwards,which will give the blurred effect to your lips.

Since the day i got my stuff i have been using few things and playing with them to know more about them.So today i have a post on one of the products i got in my US haul.I'll be reviewing each product individually from my US haul in my future posts.
So let's get started :)
Today i am gonna talk about a product which is a drugstore face and body baked bronzer,and it's Milani Tantastic Face & Body Baked Bronzer in 01 Fantastic gold. For fair girls it can work like a bronzer but for medium to deeper skin tone girls it will actually work like a highlighter rather than a bronzer.It can be used as a eyeshadow as well ,if you wish to.
Packaging - This product caught my attention because of its packaging ,this is something which is very unusual for a drugstore product.The packaging of Lorac Tantalizer and Milani baked bronzer is exactly the same.Both are slightly bulky.I do like the black writing over it which is also a similarity between both the bronzers,because of the fact that some people say it is a dupe for lorac bronzer it looks more luxurious to be a drugstore Bronzer/highlighter.
The lid is transparent so you can see the product inside and it slide sideways, just like the upper lid it has a brush compartment as well underneath the product. I dun use the brush it comes with cuz it is little flimsy and not good for application.
It is really hard to read it with the mirror isn't it ?

When i got the product there is one thing which i found odd and i was very intrigued by it.There is a mirror at the bottom part of the product.The mirror is exposed completely and can break or crack easily.Which makes it less travel friendly.Seriously it can shatter and it's not safe at all.
Formula- Being a dupe for the Lorac Bronzer it has some similarities but i am pretty sure the formula and texture is not exactly the same but quite similar.Since it's a drugstore product how can we expect that $8 product will match the standards of a $33 product,it will be little unfair.The product itself is really pretty it has peach tones in it which makes it very wearable for people with medium to deeper skin tone.I am not saying that fair girls can't rock this,definitely they can.

Overall it's a very good product and just for the price you are paying which is around $6.79 it is a definitely a good buy. If you can't get the Lorac one ,this one is good option to go with.
