Maybelline Colorblur Cream Matte Lip Pencil,My-My Magenta,Berry Misbehaved,Swatches,Review,US Haul

Hey guys welcome back ,how have you been? First of all sorry for being MIA for quite some time now,but i have a reason for that and it's my niece.My sister came to visit us and my niece as well obviously hehe :) she is just an angle so cute so adorable with that being said she is also a shaitan ki nani(Very Naughty child).We have to be around all the time,cuz constantly she keep doing one thing or the other and we have to keep n eye on her as to what she is up to.So that's the reason behind my absence and i am sure u guys would definitely understand that what i am talking about:)
Today i wanna share a brand new launch by Maybelline and these are called Color blur By Lipstudio Cream Matte Pencil & Smudger and it's a product from my US haul.You guys,since the day i saw this product i've been wanting these,cuz everyone was raving about these a lot.So i wanted to try these out ,you guys know we can't have these amazing products in india and that makes us even more excited about the products which are not easily available here hence when i got the chance to order these i just grabbed them.
Product- Maybelline color blur cream matte lips pencil comes in 10 shades.In this line you get plums,berry mauve,oranges,pinks and reds.That's a good variety to choose from.I picked up My-My Magenta and Berry Misbehaved.I chose these shades cuz i find these very different and unique yet pretty wearable shades.
The idea behind this product is you can wear two ways,either a fully saturated lip or you can go for a gradient/blurred or ombre lip,that tends to be a big trend in asia.What you can do is ,just fill the color in the center of your lips and with the opposite end which is a rubbery applicator pull the color outwards,which will give the blurred effect to your lips.
Packaging- These color blur pencils are just like a twist up pen,You just twist up from the bottom and the product comes out from the top.The outer packaging is different depending on shade you are getting inside.On the other end there is a rubbry smudger.Because it's kind of a twist up pen makes the application very easy and precise.
Formula -The best formula i have tried so far...isn't that enough to say about the formula?This is a matte formula.Even being a matte product these glides on like butter on lips.These dun have any shine or shimmer in them.Incredibly pigmented and completely opaque in one swipe.These are super comfortable on lips,very lightweight in texture.The formula just feels like velvet on your lips.Since these are not a true matte,these can transfer a little with that being said these are pretty longwearing.Being a matte lip product some colors can cling on the dry patches on your lips,so exfoliate and keep your lips in best condition possible.Because these having a buttery formula these can melt and break easily so you need to keep these in a cool place.I broke mine while applying :( but that's ok mine travelled a lot,from USA to Bangalore and Bangalore to here,seriously that's a lot for a buttery lip product like these.As far as the scent is concerned,these dun have any scent to them.
Longevity -I find these last for about 3-4 hours on me without eating oily food.These can last more then 4-5 hours without eating or drinking anything.These transfer a lot and after 2-3 hours of wear time these starts fading from the center of the lips.After few hours you will find these little drying on lips if you have dry lips like mine.Since it's a lightweight formula i was feeling like i have nothing on my lips.These do stain your lips very quickly especially the darker shades.
My-My Magenta -This is a beautiful magenta shade with hint of fuchsia and berry tones in it.Super comfortable on lips and incredibly pigmented.This shade does cling on a little on the dry patches.From the outer packaging it looks more of a true berry but it's not it has more fuchsia in it than berry.
Berry Misbehaved- Berry misbehaved is a pretty reddish berry shade.This shade is very unique and gorgeous.The formula on this shade is smooth and it doesn't cling on the dry patches on the lips.
After using these i find that these are very creamy,highly pigmented,just one swipe and you are done.Super comfortable on lips.I have tried it both ways but i like the basic way of applying it more than the other way of using.I find that after applying the second way what it does is,it just sheers out the product on your lips,and i like to apply with the full opacity.

A very nice product from maybelline.I really like it though i think the price should have been little less as the product quantity is very less.Overall a good product...
