Saante Hydrating Rose Scrub Review

Hey all,hope you all are doing fine,today i have another organic skin care product for you.I bought this product after seeing review on you tube and i thought i should give it a shot.It's the Saante Hydrating Rose Scrub.There are many reasons behind this purchase but the main reason is it's a rose scrub,and i am obsessed with roses and anything which has roses in it,i am in!!
Saante is a 100 % chemical free, zero preservative brand all their products are handmade and handcrafted.They have a huge range of beauty products,including aromatherapy oils and cosmetic products. Saante repository comprises handmade oils and other beauty products like face serums,body oils,essential oils for burning,body scrubs,body butters,candles and soaps.
I came across this brand by fab bag,i received something from this brand in one of my fab bags but what i dun remember though.If you know me you must know that i am a sucker of natural and organic skincare products.I love testing new products for my skin.This is kind of different product which i have never used before since it's in a powder form.I have used gels,creams,packs and what not but never came across a powder form of scrub and believe me this uniqueness makes it a very versatile product!! Wanna know how ?? Well keep on reading than!!!
Firstly lemme tell you it doesn't smell like roses,which actually broke my heart but anyway it smells like natural herbs without any artificial scent.Their are many ways one can use it.Well according to me this product is very versatile since it comes in powder form and can be used multiple ways with different ingredients and what could be better to have something which can give you the benefits of natural ingredients without going through the hassle of applying them on their own and in that case this product can become savior for many of us.
This product comes in a plastic see through container with a label on it which tells you about the usage and cautions.On the container it's written Hydrating Rose Face Pack and lid of the container is silver in color and kind of a thin aluminium material which closes tightly and securely and the lid also has a label on top which says Saante(pure aromatherapy) Hydrating Rose Face Scrub.This product is a 2 in 1 scrub+pack but dunno why they have written them separately on each respective label rather than combining scrub+pack together as you can see in the picture above.
Ingredients-Fullers earth,sandal wood,oat powder and rose petals.
Usage -Mix 1 and a half tsp in yogurt,rose water or saante floral water and apply all over your cleansed face.After 10 minutes or once dry remoisturize with any of the above mentioned ingredients and gently scrub off and wash your face with lukewarm water.
They have suggested you two ways which you can use this scrub but i am gonna show you how this product can be used multiple ways.
1.Curd/Yogurt -We all know that curd is very good for our health and digestive system but apart from that it can be used as a great beauty product since it offers lot's of benefits for your hair and skin as well.Curd/yogurt is know for it's rich properties as it contains Zinc,Vitamin B and Calcium.
Zinc contained in the curd helps in diminish the blemishes,it also has lactic acid which helps in minimizes the lines and wrinkles.Regular use of curd can help in getting rid of any dark spots and acne's since it has antioxidants and anti-inflammatory power,also it has anti -tanning elements which protects your skin from sun and helps in removing sun burn.It can be a good moisturizer for dry skin people since it adds natural oils to your skin and hence it's not recommended for people with oily skin.
Usage with curd/yogurt-According to the details written ,they also have suggested to use this scrub with curd and now we know why.
In summer it's good to use this pack with curd ,not only because it's enriched with some great natural properties but it can give you cooling effect if you put it in refrigerator for few minutes and then apply.I have exactly used it the same way they have suggested and i really liked that it moisturized my skin really well,it didn't feel stretchy or dry at all.The powder is not smooth since it has crushed oats in it which works as a very good exfoliating particle.
2.Rose water-Rose water also contains antioxidants, antibacterial,anti-inflammatory properties,which can help reduce redness of irritated skin,get rid of acne,healing scars and cuts.It also helps in strengthen in skin cells and regenerating the skin tissues.Other than these rose water can also be used as a cleanser and toner which can remove dirt, access oil from your face.The aroma of roses can instantly enhance your mood and refreshes your mind.It also helps in maintain the skin's Ph balance and control access oil on your face and hence it's really good for oily skin people.
Usage with Rose water-Just take your desired amount or as mentioned and add few drops of rose water(any rose water of your choice,i use the dabur gulabari but i am looking forward to try the Kama Ayurveda rose water.If you guys have used it lemme know or you can suggest any other pure rose water as well),make sure you add little because we don't want it to be runny otherwise it would not stick properly on face.If you want you can refrigerate it and than apply.Leave it for 20 minutes or once dry scrub off and wash your face,i wash my face with normal water since it's summer.It instantly refreshes your face and you feel more relaxed and calm.
3.Honey-Honey is also a natural antibacterial so it is also good for treating and preventing acne and it's bleaching properties can helps in get rid of scars.It is also enriched with antioxidants which helps in slowing down the aging process and fade away any lines or wrinkles.Honey is extremely moisturizing,hydrating and soothing on skin which helps in bring out the glow on your face.
Usage-They have mentioned only with curd and rose water this pack and be teamed up with honey as well.I have already mentioned above that how much honey is beneficial for our skin,mixing it with honey would give you a natural glow and provide hydration to your skin.Though honey is enriched with Goodness but i don't like using it on it's own so what i do is i take same amount of powder and mix it with 1 tsp honey and apply all over my face and neck and after 20 minutes i spray rose water and scrub it off and after that wash my face with normal water.It nourishes and hydrates your skin very well and skin feels soft and smooth because of honey.
4. Aloe Vera Gel-Who does't know that how amazing aloe vera is for our skin and health.Some people drink it for good health.Aloe vera is rich in Vitamin C,E and beta carotene which gives its anti aging and nourishing qualities.Aloe vera also has nourishing properties which nourishes your skin without making it greasy and sticky,it also prevents pre mature aging and has the ability to lessen the visibility of stretch marks.
Usage-Take the same amount as mentioned or according to your need and take small amount of aloe vera gel and mix it well until it forms a paste ,and apply it all over your face and neck ,leave it for 20 minutes or once it dries and scrub it off,and wash your face,it will give you the radiant glow on your face and remove any irritation if you might have on your face ,you can refrigerate this as well but for few minutes.
These were the 4 ways of using this product according to me,you can mix it with many other things and use as a pack but make sure you know what you are using and it would not cause any allergy or irritation to you.
I really like using this pack because its all natural and have ingredients like fuller earth ,sandalwood powder ,oat powder and rose petals,and natural things never cause any irritation or side effects until and unless you are allergic to it,so always keep this in mind.
