New Garnier Ultra Blends Nourishing Shine Henna Blackberry Shampoo and Conditioner Review and Pictures

Hey all today i have another review post for you guys on a recently launched range from Garnier.I dunno why but i have this thing in me whenever i see a new shampoo coming in the market ,i always get excited to try it.Being a dry hair gal i always search for some good shampoos which can give me smooth,shiny and beautiful hair, just like the advertisements which these brands make for their product promotion,it's funny right ? We all know that there is no shampoo whatsoever which can give you the exact hair like the advertisers show us,but despite knowing the fact we still can't help it.
Shampoo is something which can be changed quite easily since we go through them so quickly and because of that we tend to use every new launch in the market.Same happened this time as well.I was about to finish my ogx argan shampoo and conditioner and decided to buy this new launch though i wasn't sure that it will work for me or not for the simple reason that i don't have a good luck with Garnier Products ,i have tried couple of shampoos and their Oil in cream in the past and reviewed it on my blog as well ,if you wanna check ,you can!!
The packaging got me this time,if you know me,you know that i am a sucker for beautiful packaging,as soon as i saw this range i decided to have one and the Henna & Blackberry caught my eye.They have launched 5 variants in this range to cater diffrent-diffrent hair issues with their coordinating conditioners. They have Mythic Oil,Soy Milk & Almonds,Precious Herbs,Royal Jelly & Lavender and Henna & Blackberry.There is a blend for everyone,find your blend to suit your hair need.
The best part about this range is that garnier has launched a paraben free range for the very first time.Here in India it's launched as Ultra blends but in overseas it's lauched as Whole Blends.
When i was ordering it online i saw that in this range garnier has also launched a new oil in cream and i had to try this one so i bought that as well.
It's been almost a month now since i have started using this whole range.I have got the Garnier Ultra Blends Henna & Blackberry Shampoo, Conditioner and Ultra Blends Oil-In-Cream.
I am going to review the Ultra blends Henna & Blackberry Shampoo and conditioner in this post and Oil in cream in my next post so check out that as well.
I got the Garnier ultra blends Heena & Blackberry shampoo and conditioner because of the packaging obviously but what intrigued me the most are the key ingredients in it, it has henna and blackberry since we all know that henna is really good for our hair but i never used a shampoo with blackberry in it,so i wanted to try this combination for my hair.I was little unsure about the products at first but after using it i feel this product is definitely diffrent from the others i have tried in the past.
Shampoo- The shampoo comes in a see through bright berry purple plastic bottle with a golden cap,the packaging not only looks beautiful also it's very practical and helpful because you can see how much product you have used and how much product is left in the bottle.I love the print and detailing on the product.The cap feels ok if you wanna use it at home but it's not sturdy and travel friendly since it can open easily while travelling and the product can spill easily and i am saying this with my own experience,while clicking the pictures i noticed that if you lay them flat these can spill easily especially the shampoo,so i won't recommend taking these with you while travelling.
Conditioner also comes in a color coordinating purple plastic bottle but it's not clear like the shampoo.It also has a golden cap but on the downside of the bottle.This one also has the same issue ,the cap doesn't feel sturdy,it feels loose and flimsy when you try to close it.The basic print and details are exactly same as the shampoo.
Texture
Shampoo-Garnier Ultra blends shampoo has a clear gel like texture with a little berry tint,the consistency of this shampoo is very runny.What i have noticed that products with gel like texture doesn't lather up that well but this one lathers up quite nicely though it's not too foamy but it does a great job in cleaning the scalp.The way i like to apply my shampoo no matter it has gel like texture of creamy,is to dilute it with water before applying on the scalp since putting it directly can harm your scalp in long run.Dilute your shampoo with water and you will notice that it really helps in spreading the shampoo evenly all over your hair and foams up the product even more.It smells like blackberry and i quite like the scent,i don't like heavly scented products but this one apparently is very mild which i like.
Conditioner-Henna & Blackberry conditioner looks like any other conditioner but this one is little more creamier in texture than the other conditioners i have used in the past from garnier, it really hydrates and provides the needed nourishment to your dry and frizzy hair.After rinsing the hair you can feel the smoothness it gives to your hair.As a conditioner it does a great job.
Henna & Blackberry variant is for dull and damaged and lifeless hair,it says it not only nourishes the hair but also gives incredible shine to the hair.I feel the shampoo really cleans your scalp without being harsh to your scalp,if you have extremely dry and frizzy hair,the shampoo alone is not sufficient to provide the needed nourishment but if you use it in conjunction with the conditioner it makes a great combo and gives you the desired result.Henna & Blackberry shampoo cleans your scalp really nicely and conditioner gives your hair a lot of nourishment and shine.When you use these both as a combo you will be able to see the smoothness and shine it gives.If you want you can apply oil to your hair before night and the next day after using these you will get even more great results from them.
I really like this range and wanna try the other variants now,i am using this combo from a month now and 1/4 product is still left and i use shampoo and conditioner evry alternative day.Try for yourself and see how it works for you.I really like that this range is really affordable and comes in diffrent sizes to suit your need.

Texture

My experience with the Shampoo and Conditioner
I really like this range and wanna try the other variants now,i am using this combo from a month now and 1/4 product is still left and i use shampoo and conditioner evry alternative day.Try for yourself and see how it works for you.I really like that this range is really affordable and comes in diffrent sizes to suit your need.
