Maybelline New york colorblur vs Maybelline India Lip Gradation Comparison Review,Pictures

Hey all today i have a comparison post for you guys,i have done one comparison post earlier as well on Maybelline India's Fashion Brow and Maybelline New york's Define+fill duo which you can read Here,So when i saw that Maybelline had launched some amazing new products which i was not expecting to be launched here like the Fit Me Range and Lip Gradations,i got so excited to test the Indian launches,since i have few US launches,i can compare the quality of both the product to see whether or not they are same,or they are very different in terms of texture,formula,packaging price.When you have two same launches from different countries it makes the comparison a lot easier.
I have got the US launch of the Lip Gradations which launched as Maybelline colorblur their.In some countries this product launched as Color Blur and in some it launched as Lip Gradation and India being one of them.I have full review on the colorblur which i got from US ,which you can read Here.
In US this product launched in 10 different shades,from pinks to magenta,reds to plum,pinks to mauves,you get a very nice shade selection in the colorblur range while in India this product launched in 8 different shades,i feel there is not a great variation in the shade selection because here you get 2 reds,2 pinks ,1 mauve ,1 orange,1 coral and 1 fuchsia.the shade range seems less as compare to the colorblur range.
In US they have named each and every shade with different different interesting names like Cherry Cherry Bang Bang, Berry Misbehaved, Orange Ya Glad,Partner In Crimson,while in India these have only color name and no.like Red 1,Red 2,like seriously Maybelline India :/ you can do better than this. |

Packaging on both the products is quite similar to each other except few little changes here and there.The colorblur crayon has all the instruction printed on the cap,whereas Lip gradation has all the details printed on the plastic wrapping in which the product comes wrapped and sealed.Both the crayons have the product name on it like Maybelline New York colorblur by lipstudio in black bold letters and Maybelline New York lip gradation by Colorsensational in shiny silver,but not the same case with the shade names,colorblur has the shade name on the crayon itself and lip gradation has the name down below.Every crayon's outer packaging is color coordinated with the shade inside and that goes for both the products.Both comes with a smudger at the end but both of them are not exactly the same in terms of texture,the colorblur one is more of like a silicone sponge while on the lip gradation the sponge texture is more like something you get in beauty sponges which are very popular in market off late,the colorblur one can be cleaned easily since it's a silicone base sponge while on the other hand the lip gradation one can stain very badly since it soaks up the product inside and can not be cleaned easily.For the precise application both of these have a pointy tip to them which makes the application pretty easy.Both of these does'nt have a scent to them.
The main thing for a comparison post has to be the formula on both the product,and i must say the formula on both of these is quite similar to each other,except the lip gradation has little balm'ish(if it's a word:-p) feel to it while the colorblur tends to feel little powdery onto the lips with no sheen and shine whatsoever.Since the lip gradation has this balm kind of texture,it gives little bit sheen to the product.The texture is quite similar as far as the base is concern,feels very light weight,glide onto the lips like butter and very effortlessly.Base of the texture is light so it tends to wear off pretty quickly without even eating and drinking,i feel that lip gradation wears off quickly than the colorblur one.This transfers a lot which affects the longevity of the product,you barely touch anything and it will just wear off right away.The light base makes it looking patchy on the lips and having dry lips makes it looking even worse.It settles down in the the cracks pretty easily and wears off from the outer part of your lips.This product does not stain that much.If you want an even application from these make sure you exfoliate and moisturise your lips pretty well before using this,otherwise it will look patchy.
The shade i picked is Fuchsia 1 which i feel is quite similar to the shade My My Magenta from the colorblur range and the shade Berry Misbehaved is quite similar to the shade Pink 2 from the Lip Gradation.I didn't find the shade selection interesting so i picked up this.It's a pretty bright fuchsia shade with blue undertones.
