L'oreal Paris Moist Matte Lipstick Lincoln Rose Review,Swatches,Pictures

Hey guys i am back from my Dubai trip and i must say it's very beautiful and we enjoyed our trip thoroughly,those tall and sky touching buildings,lush green paths covered in beautiful flowers ,beaches with aqua blue water and the most amazing of all burj khalifa i still cannot get over it,if you wanna see pictures and all details related to my trip lemme know and i would love to do a post on that.Anyways let's get back to work,off late i have been obsessing over these beautiful lipsticks and yes i am talking about L'oreal lipsticks,i feel being a drugstore brand this is little overpriced,everything you see whether it's lipsticks or blush or even eyeliner it's so damn expensive,and this brand is known for it.I guess few months or a year back you could get MAC lipsticks at the same price at which this brand it offering their lipsticks right now ,though MAC has increased their prices,earlier it was around 900 Rs and now it's almost Rs.1450 ,I feel this brand is not for everybody since most of the people find it too expensive.
Girls and bling goes hand in hand isn't it :-P ,sometime back l'oreal launched few of their moist matte shades in a swarovski limited edition collection and since i wanted to have this particular shade which is Lincoln rose i thought of picking this one because why not,who can say no to blingy and shiny things,believe me this packaging looks so chic and classy and i know i am late on this bandwagon but still i am obsessing over the packaging more than the actual product.I have recently bought many L'oreal lipsticks and i am going to review all on my blog so stay tuned for that.
The lipstick tube comes in a black cardboard box with the brand and collection name and obviously swarovski crystals printed on it and inside you get another black velvet box in which the lipstick comes packed which makes it look so classy.
The lipstick packaging is almost similar to the moist matte range by L'oreal except it has a hint of rose gold in the finish with swarovski crystals studded on it which makes the lipstick even more classy and chic.
Can we take a moment to appreciate this color,this is the very first L'oreal lipstick i wanted to get my hands on and it's finally here.This is a very beautiful pinkish red colour with little coral in it and it's quite similar to the pure vermeil from the star red collection,the only difference is that this one is hint darker and it has more red and being a moist matte it has some moisture in it which delivers some sheen onto your lips after applying whereas pure vermeil is straight up matte without and sheen or shine.
The formula is exactly what it says,very pigmented,one swipe can give you fully opaque coverage however you would need second swipe just to distribute the color evenly on the lips,these are very creamy and comfortable,glides beautifully onto the lips leaving the lips moisturized and supple.Since it's not a true matte it doesn't settle into the cracks and fine lines you may have,neither it emphasize them although after couple of hours the sheen and shine just fades off completely and after that you can find it little drying so it's always better to exfoliate and moisturized your lips anyway.It transfers quite a bit initially and if you eat or drink it will just wear off in 2-3 hours max,as you all know i am a lipstick eater so there is no lipstick which can stay put for more than 3 hour on me,the wear time can vary person to person,on some it can stay put upto 5 hours depending on what you eat or drink through out the day.These tend to leave a stain on the lips.The sad thing about these lipsticks is that being a moist matte and very creamy in formula these cannot survive sunlight or hot weather,these can easily melt is comes in contact of direct sunlight or even if you carry them with you in summers,this is the case with the whole moist matte range.I put them in refrigerator in summers so they don't break or melt.

This Limited edition swarovski Lipstick costs around Rs 1095 for 4.2g
Overall i really like this color and since it's a very versatile color it's suitable for all skin tones across the board.
