Hey guys hope you are are doing fine,as you guys know that i was on a small vacation to Dubai and this product was fairly new when i took it with me on my trip and after testing it for quite sometime i wanted to do a post on it asap i came back but i fell sick and could not do one, which is actually good in a way that i got more time to test this product,so it's perfect time that we guys should talk about this amazing foundation and it's the Newly Launched Maybelline Fit Me Matte Plus Poreless.This foundation is meant and targeted towards the people with oily skin and suppose to work great on them.Since it claims to be a matte foundation i was very skeptical to buy it first and i thought of skipping on it thinking that it would not work for me,if you guys dunno i have dry skin but sometimes it reacts as a combination skin due to weather change.Since we were going on a trip and i have heard rave reviews about this foundation internationally ,i couldn't resist and bought one,So let's go through foundation in detail.
The Fit Me Range is little confusing in terms of the shades availability,you get less or more shades at different-2 stores according to my Shopper stop store it includes 6 foundations, 3 blushes, 4-5 compacts (depending on the place) and 3 concealers.The shade i got is the darkest shade in the range which is 330 Toffee Caramel.Although this range is meant to fit every skin tone it doesn't offers you a whole range to pick your perfect match,you have to satisfy yourself with the shades they have offered and this is the case with blushes concealers and powders as well.

I dun understand that why brands always compromise on either quality or quantity when it comes to launching a new product in India.This range includes 15+ shades in the US and here we got only 6.Why we can't have a perfect shade which is meant for us and we just dun have to satisfy with whatever we are getting,why it's called fit me then when it can't fit one perfectly :-/
The shade range is very less,there is 4 shades for light to medium skin tones and 2 for medium to deeper skin tones.If you are confused as to which shade you should pick ,i would definitely suggest you to visit a store near you,since i am have a deeper skin tone i had only two options one is the 322 Warm Honey and 330 Toffee Caramel.While i was in the store i found both the darker shades are quite similar and the darkest shade wasn't that dark as well so just to be safe i picked the darkest shade which is Toffee caramel.I use MAC studio fix foundation in NC45,so i would say if you are NC42 in MAC you can go for the second last shade which is 322 Warm honey and you are somewhere around NC45 than choose 330 Toffee Caramel,and if you are above NC45 than my friend i am afraid but there is no shade for you :-(
The shade i got is not as dark and orange as the MAC one which i really like cuz MAC foundation is little bit dark for me so i found shade quite a good match for me.
Packaging wise this foundation is exactly similar to the Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation which has been launched in the US.It has the exact same glass bottel packaging without pump :-( The bottel is small and compact,i know foundation in glass bottel can be hard to carry or use but being a glass bottel it is not so bulky,i really like that it's small so it makes it handy to carry it in you travel pouch.I did'nt face any issue while travelling however i had this fear that i am going to drop it and the bottel would break but thank god it'did'nt happen.Sadly this foundation does'nt come with pump so the inside of the cap can become little messy.
The cap of the bottle is black and it has Maybelline New york and Fit me written on it in green colour which looks quite nice and the front of the bottle has a transparent label with Matte+Poreless written on it.All the details related to the foundation is written on the back and the shade name and no.is mentiond on back and on the top of the cap.
Price -525 for 1FL.OZ 30ml
Overall i really like this foundation it's a good foundation and i am impressed that Maybelline India launched this at a very pocket friendly price.One should definately try this foundation,in case if it does'nt work on you that well you dun have to feel sad about it since it's so pocket friendly right ?

As far as the texture is concern,the texture is not runny neither it's too thick,it's somewhere in between and the formula is satiny matte which i really like ,because being a dry skin gal i cannot afford to use matte foundations on my skin,since they are meant to work great on oily skin people that's why they are called matte foundations right? and using a straight up matte foundation can be risky since it can cling on the dry patches so easily and make you look dead.If you guys have dry skin you guys would know that dry skin needs some good moisturisation and hydration more than anyone else so formulas and textures having satin finish and dewy finish can be your best bet when it comes to pick a foundation for you and why i am saying this? well your skin needs hydration and you want a foundation which can give you the coverage but doesn't rips off the moisture of your skin and formulas like these can definitely do that.Although it says it's a matte+poreless foundation ,it's my favorite, since it mattifies your face while retaining the moisture into your skin.However there are mixed thoughts about this foundation in the makeup community some people like it and some says it's horrible on dry skin.Luckily i haven't faced such problem and i am enjoying it thoroughly still i would suggest that if you have really really dry skin than try something which is meant for dry skin.
Another good thing about the formula is that it is very light on the skin,you would not feel that you have a layer of foundation on your skin,it's very easy to apply,blends like a dream onto your skin and becomes a part of it.It gives a satiny matte finish to your face and if you have problematick areas which tends to get oily you can set them with powder,me being dry skin gal i dun use powders at all though i get shiny at my T zone areas when i am out in sun and believe me with this foundation i was shine free and oil free for almost 3-4 hours and that to without any powder on top and Dubai was legit hot and we had to roam around under the sun almost 4-5 hours everyday.
This foundation has medium to buildable coverage and it's perfect for this summer season since it's very lightweight, very comfortable,it won't feel heavy or cakey on your skin whatsoever,dunno about you guys but i hate applying foundation in summers but now i have a foundation which i can apply if i have to.Once you apply, it will blend nicely onto you skin that your skin would look much more even than it was before ,it doesn't sit on your skin and i hate when foundations does that. As far as the pore refining qualities is concern ,yes it has pore refining qualities in it and it makes your pores look less visible,so if you have pores issue do give it a shot.
I have tried it with both my forever 21 makeup sponge and Real technique's buffing brush and even with my hands as well and i would say if you want a natural everyday wear coverage than go for hands and makeup sponge since it gives you more natural finish as compare to a brush, and if you want a buildable coverage go for a brush .Both works great according to your needs.
