Hey all how you doing ? Today i have a review on a product from an international brand which is not yet available in India but you can get some of the products from amazon.in,as you guys know that amazon stocks some international brands as well.I got mine in my US haul and i am talking about the Elf Lip exfoliator in clear.
Having dry lips can be little painful especially when Matte lipsticks and liquid lipsticks are the current rage in the Indian market,each and every brand is coming up with liquid lipsticks lately and for people with dry lips tend to struggle a lot when it comes to choosing a right formula or right shade for them since some formulas and shades can make dry lips look horrible than they actually are by accentuating the fine line and cracks of the lips.So if you wanna deal with this situation,all you need to exfoliate and moisturize your lips regularly to avoid any flaking or pealing of the lips. You cannot change your lips completely but you can at least control the situation a bit and help your lips by prepping them before.
So now comes the tricky part.Many of us get lazy in summer time and are not ready to make an effort by making a scrub or any kind of exfoliator for our lips and there this product comes in,it's very handy and hassle free.
This product is diffrent from any other lip scrubs or exfoliators for the simple reason that it comes in a lipstick tube packaging which makes it very diffrent and unique from the other lip scrubs you get in a small tub packaging.Not only it is unique but it's very handy as well.Applying a lip scrub from a tub can be messy and tricky at times, while applying with this exfoliator is just as easy as applying a lipstick.This elf lip exfoliator now comes in two more flavors which are Mint Maniac and Sweet Cherry ,when i ordered mine they only had this clear one.
So let's have a look at the packaging -As you can tell ,it comes in a matte black lipstick tube type packaging and this product is meant to apply like a lipstick,it works as same as a lipstick,you just need to open the bullet and rub it generously on the lips in order to exfoliate them.
Texture - It does a brilliant job in exfoliating because it gives you a grip while applying which you cannot get with a tub packaging and you have to keep on digging your finger to get the product out.This lip exfoliator has Vitamin-e ,Shea butter and Avocado oil in it which makes it super moisturizing.While you are rubbing it on your lips the exfoliating particles exfoliates your lips quite nicely and the balm-ish texture make your lips feel moisturized and it makes the exfoliating process much more easier.It's just like a lip balm infused with lots of exfoliating particles.The exfoliator does not feel harsh on your lips that your lips start hurting,it just gently exfoliates and gives a conditioned and revitalized feel to your lips with a sweet sugary smoothing feel in the end.It's a good balance of moisture and exfoliation at the same time.
I love this product and if you can get your hands on it ,you should get it ,it will make the exfoliation process a lot easier for you though availability is an issue,there are some websites which are selling these but the price they are offering is just insane hence i would recommend you guys to get it from US only since it's just $3 there and here it's insanely priced which is not good at all.So if you have a plan to go to US or someone is visiting,make sure to add this product in your shopping list.
