Hey everyone welcome to my blog,today i have a Eyeshadow Palette review post for you guys.It seems that i am obsessed with this brand called Makeup revolution lately.This brand is known for providing dupes of some High End eyeshadow palettes like Urban Decay and Too faced and of course their good quality and low prices.I have a detailed post on their Stripped&Bare palette which you can read here.I've been trying out their products a lot lately and i am quite impressed with all i have tried so far.
Today i will be talking about their "Essential shimmers" Eyeshadow Palette.I have shopped few Eyeshadow palettes in past and this is one of them.I have many palettes with different formulas and textures and i believe a good palette should be a mix of both shimmer and matte shades to achieve a perfect eye look but having separate palettes for matte and shimmery shades are always good as an additional benefit.It can inspire and give you the space to explore more and create endless looks.
As the name suggests it has 12 shimmer shades of different tones,be it gold,beige ,rose gold,bronze taupe,champagne you have it all.I quite like how this palette includes all basic tones which can be used as an all over lid color.
The palette comes with the traditional iconic packaging,which has a transparent lid on top,i personally dun prefer the transparent lid packaging because once it gets little dirty and scratchy it doesn't looks nice at all.
As far as the pigmentation is concern,all the shades are not equally pigmented,some are more pigmented than others hence you would need to build up the less pigmented colors to get the right amount of pigment on the lids,i haven't tried these with primer or wet and using them with primer or wet can intensify the color to some extent. These eyeshadows blends nicely,the texture and formula varies across the board ,some shades feels nice and creamy and easy to work with ,whereas some feels little rough and less creamier,but you can make them work.

This is a great eyeshadow palette to have in one's collection. If you are a shimmery eyeshadow person and looking for an affordable option, this eyeshadow palette is a good option for you. Since it's not heavy on your pocket you can never go wrong with having something like that in your stash.
