Makeup Revolution London Stripped&Bare Eyeshadow Palette Review,Swatches,Pictures

Hey Guys ,How are you all,i have been missing in action for quite a while now cuz a lot has happened in past few months,i fell sick,my lappy crashed ,my sis moved to Canada and what not but  i am back on track and i have announced my second giveaway do check it out and participate if you haven't already :)

So now i am here and all set to write a post about a brand which is in market for quite some time now and when i hosted my first giveaway i came across this brand.I knew about this brand but never got a chance to try their products and when i shopped for my giveaway i shopped for myself as well and since then i am officially sold:P

If you guys dunno about this brand,it's a UK based brand which caters in all kind of makeup products, although it's a very affordable brand their products are of very good quality which i really like. There are many Indian websites who have started stocking up this brand but i guess Jabong was the first website who stocked up on this brand,i am not sure though correct me if i am wrong but i have seen this brand on jabong before the other websites started carrying this brand. So i bought this from Jabong and you can have great discounts if you buy from them, though you have to pay taxes do keep in mind.

So when this sale started across all the online websites in the month of october, i did some damage and bought quite a lot from this brand,so i am gonna talk about a eyeshadow palette today which i ordered from Jabong and it's Makeup Revolution Stripped&Bare. You guys must be thinking why i am talking so much about Jabong, well there is a reason behind it :(

As you guys know when the sale starts these website dun concentrate or you can say dun pay attention on their packaging.I have ordered from Jabong in past as well and there way of packing the products was on point, but seriously this time they disappointed. They stuffed  all the products in a small box and that to upside down and that caused the damage in my palette and one eyeshadow pan was all bashed up and was all over the palette which was kind of annoying so i tried to replace it but they said this palette is not returnable and replaceable, hence i ended up with this broken palette .

I had to tell you my experience with Jabong ,who knows it might be a help for someone who is trying to order stuff from jabong.

Coming to the palette,It comes in a pretty rose gold cardboard box with STRIPPED&BARE written on it and a image of this palette,it says 3 looks in 1 palette that's true. The actual palette is black which is their standard packaging. This palette falls in their professional eyeshadow range, that's why it called pro looks palette.

It's a very versatile palette with which you can create multiple looks, since it has a very nice shade selection of 12 mattes and shimmery light to deep dark shades. This palette itself is split into 3 mini palettes with one brow bone highlight and 4 eyeshadows to achieve a perfect eye look,of course you can mix match the colors, but i thought it would be easier for those who are not much into makeup and kind of beginners cuz each section gives you the idea of using it.

So let's dig in and go through each section by section. The very first section from the left side is the lightest one amongst all three sections,it has the lightest shade selection with less pigmentation, for the fact that these are the lightest ones these don't deliver much pigment on the lids and that makes it a perfect pick for achieving a subtle day appropriate eye look. This section has a mix of pinks and silvers and golds which you can use as all over lid color and they can be used as inner corner highlight as well. The only thing i feel that you can't create a perfect polished eye look with this section as it is missing on a deep matte shade to deepen up the crease area. The matte shade Dignity is a very muted pink and sadly it doesn't show up that well on deep dusky indian skin tones. You would definitely need a primer to make the colors pop a little bit more, other than this other shimmery shades are very creamy and easily blendable and perfect for all over lid.By no mean the matte shade is not good,it's easily blendable and nice but less pigmented.According to me this section alone doesn't offers too variety in terms of shade selection.

The next section is probably my favorite out of all three just because it has some unusual shades in it like Super cool and Naked nights, these are very different shades which you dun normally get in a palette.I really love the shade super cool it's a deep maroonish brownish shade with pink micro glitters in it.The shade let loose is the shade which completely bashed up while delivering,i just pressed it down and because of that it just ruined completely and when ever i am trying to pick up this shade it gives tons of fall out but nonetheless it's a pretty shade as a lid color, being a matte shade Get loose can be a perfect transition shade Since this section contains some amazing deep dark and light shimmery shades ,this section is just perfect for a crisp smokey eye look. These colors can be used for day or night time look both.

Last but not the least, this section is definitely a more appropriate for a perfect smokey party look since it contains some satiny blue and greens and a staple black matte shade. The shade desired is a greyish green with golden glitter flex and can be used as a lid color, stripped all day (these names tho :D)can be a perfect transition shade for light to medium skin tones, for dusky gals it might not show up that well without primer. The eyeshadow HOT being a subtle blue shade it's good to create a smokey look, without being so out there that it scares you away. The black in this palette is not a intense black which makes it a friendly shade for those who are scared of black shadows.

Overall i think this palette is a great mix of really nice matte and shimmery shades and the shade range is wide enough to inspire you to create tons of looks with them.I would say few shades are less pigmented than others but still you can make them work by using a primer underneath, other than that all the colors blends nicely and easily.

Price -Rs 2250 on the box but definitely you can get this on a great discount on various websites. I got this on discount so i don't remember the price.

That's all guys, see you in my next post.
Thanks for reading :)
xoxo
