I never tried this brand before and being a blogger we are suppose to try out new things.So finally i decided to place an order for these.I bought two palettes,One for me and one for you guys.As you can see your palette is still intact i haven't opened the seal ,so dun worry it is going to reach you all new and packed.I was so excited and wanted to announce my giveaway asap that even i haven't opened mine.

This palette is a mix of 12 beautiful matte and shimmery shades, i am really happy to give this to one of you as my giveaway prize :)

Hello lovelies welcome back ,today i am back with a fab bag unboxing post.Yaaaaas this time i got my fab bag so early and i wasn't expecting this cuz i never got my fab bag this early ,i mean in first week of the month, isn't that unbelievable.This is last month of my fab bag subscription and i have not decided yet that would i be renewing my subscription or not. Let's hop right in and see what i got in this months fab bag.

This month's fab bag is based on the theme cast a spell.This months bag is a pretty shiny pink pouch .

1.Fran Wilson Moodmatcher Lipstick (Black)-I got the lipstick in black color isn't it weird,who would like to wear a black lipstick? well these are color changing lipsticks. This lipstick works according to your body chemistry and changes color accordingly hence the color may vary person to person.My lipstick turned out to be a berry shade and this lipstick has a balmish consistency and texture.

3.Ital Veloce Body Mist(Sea Island Temptation)- This aromatic indulgence for the senses comes in refreshing floral,fruity tones.Mesmerize with this mild enchanting fragrance that lasts all day long.I got mine in sea island and its a mild fragrance but i am not a fan of these kind of scents.

Nyx Auto eye pencil(Sapphire)-It is a pretty blue eye pencil which you can use multiple ways .It can be applied on lids as a base or as a eyeliner which you can smoke it out as well for a spicy smokey look.This is a product which i chose when i got a mail from fab bag.This time they gave us a chance to choose a product from the products listed in the mail and i chose this cuz i wanted to have more makeup this time.

Welcome back to The girls korner.Today i am gonna talk about the other stuff which my sis got for me from Canada..If u have read my earlier post you guys would know about the story behind these purchases ..:)

Let's get straight to the product review..

Today i am gonna talk about the other eye shadows duos which i got along with my previously talked eys shadow quad and these are Maybelline's baked eye shadow duo..so i got three from this range.They have many other shades as well but the ones i picked were Sinful sinnamon 80,Carbon frost 05,Mocha mirage 40.

Starting with a packaging ,the baked eye shadows come in a sturdy plastic square packaging which is very much travel friendly.You will not get the applicator with these eye shadows like the last one which i showed you in my previous post.If you want you can see.Here

As the name says these are baked eye shadows duos like Mac's mineralize eye shadow,one side is solid while the other is marbleized.These shadows have smooth texture and high frosty finish with high pigmentation.The baked shadows supposed to work well wet,but these eye shadows works well both wet and dry.I normally like to use it wet ,because they are very much shimmery and they can give u fall outs when applied dry.Whether you apply wet or dry you will notice there is not much difference in the pigmentation you will get,with that being said it does intensifies the pigmentation a little more but not much.Somehow i feel that in each duo which i got every marbleized shade show up almost same cuz they are in the same color family pink,beige and bronze all look same when applied side by side,i will upload swatches as well so u can see how they look side by side.These are very shimmery and if you don't want a shimmery face avoid this guy using dry ,and use it wet instead or with a primer base .These are best applied with fingers but it totally depends on you whatever you feel like and comfortable with do that way.You can apply it with finger and then blend with a help of brush if need be.So let's talk about the individual shades i got :)

Sinful sinnamon80-Sinful sinnamon is a duo with two pretty shades,the solid side is a rusted reddish orange with a frosty finish and the other side is marbleized pinky beige with a white frosty finish.This is a beautiful duo and pretty wearable as well and i really like the reddish orange shade of this duo.These shadows can be applied dry or wet but for applying dry you need to be very careful otherwise you will end up with a shimmery face.You can use a primer underneath to make the color pop a bit more,these duos doesn't have glitter in them but these are highly shimmery specially the marbleized part of it.Some duos contain shimmer in both sides but in this one only the marbleized side of it is shimmery whereas the other is just have a frosty finish in it.This duo offers shimmery and glistening look which is wonderful and appropriate for any festive or wedding occasions.The reddish orange color with a frosty finish is a very versatile shade which can be used as all over lid color or as a crease shade.This is what i feel but as per your choice you can play with it.

Carbon frost 05 -Carbon frost is a duo which has a shimmery black one side and the other half is a blend of pink and beige with having veins of bronze and golden running on it.The pigmentation of this duo is quite impressive specially the black side which has shimmer in it.This duo is having shimmer in both the sides .The people who are smokey eye addict can attain a smokey eye look with this duo because it is having a prefect black shade which is great for that smokey look.The darker shade which is black is again a versatile shade which can be used as many different ways.you can use it for creating a lash line and then smoke it out a little or can be used in crease or you can use it for the outer V of ur eye,or if you are a kinda daring person u can use it all over the lid as well.So it's your call,completely depends on your choice, mood and comfort.

Mocha mirage 40-Mocha mirage is again a pretty duo with a satiny medium brownish gold and marbleized medley of gold and frosty pink.Both colors are reasonably pigmented and smooth when applied,again a perfect duo for any festive occasions cuz who doesn't like golds and pinks.Colors in this are extremely wearable for almost all skin tones.If you are in golds and pinks like me,this duo won't disappoint you.

Here you can see they show up little different on skin but on eyes they look similar to each other because of the rosy beige and golden color theme .

Pros-

Wide color selection
Not chalky
Smooth finish and soft creamy texture when applied
worn with a primer will stay put for half a day
Excellent price point ,you can get much cheaper in sale anyways
Wearable shades for almost all skin tones

Cons-

Very shimmery,can give you fall outs
All marbleized shades look pretty much same, i wish there would be a diffrence

Would i recommend- yes these duos are quite good when u dun wanna spend much money but wanna build your collection and these are worth the money.
There are not much things which i dun like so you can judge by this that i quite like this product.Wanna try few more colorful shades ..

Maybelline Eye Studio Color Explosion Eye Shadow In Pink Punch,Swatches,Review

Hello girls,

Welcome to The Girls korner. So today i am going to talk about something which is not from India..There is story behind this purchase.My elder sis went Canada a while ago and that time i was not in blogging and wasn't familiar with much brands except maybelline .I was here in india so i was very excited about the Canadian maybelline products .So i start searching things on Maybelline CA website and found few things which attracted me and i asked my sis to buy those things for me..She kept telling what's available and what's not. The things which i asked her to pic were mostly eye shadows and this Maybelline eye studio color explosion range was very pretty and the packaging was very attractive as well,so i fell for it and asked her to pick one from this range as they are very expensive for a drugstore brand. I could only decide by the pictures that which one to get so i ended up picking this rosy purple tone quad PINK PUNCH. I was not into greens and browns and blues so for playing safe i picked this one..So that's the story :P

Let's get straight to the product review..

Product Details-These pallets are called Maybelline eye studio color explosion .Each palette contains four colors plus a coordinating glitter top coat.

Shade range-

Caffeine Rush 05

Amethyst Ablazed 10

Forest Fury 14

Blue Blowout 10

Pink Punch 25

So these are the five color range you can get in this color explosion line.The one i got is Pink punch.Pink punch is a collection of pinks ,a very light baby pink,a medium pink, a darker mauve,a grapey purple and then a sheer uber light pink tone glitter top coat.

Pink punch- In every product range u find some hits and some misses whether it can be the formula or the lack of pigmentation same goes with this product as well.I was way too excited when i first got it.It looks very gorgeous in the packaging and the shimmers in it makes it more attractive,but i have to say i am very disappointed with this product .It is so pretty and i wanted to like it so badly but the color comes out very sheer and chalky ..No matter how light handed u try to apply it,trust me it will give you tons and tons of fall outs ..The pigmentation on this product is pathetic.you will need a very very good primer to make the colors show up a bit.Most importantly the glitter in it is so so gorgeous that by the time you see the glitter you immediately fall in love with it and when u try to use it huh (SIGH) you will realize it's not working the way it should be..You will surly need a glitter primer or glue to make it work...After my experience with it i read many reviews and then i ended up with this conclusion that the other pallets may work better as they seems to be more pigmented but this one doesn't .This pallet specially is a total miss.From a 10-11$ product i expected more but it failed ..
